(More customer reviews)The shipping was the only bad thing about this product. With the free shipping it's worth the wait (which was about 2 weeks for me). They arrived in San Diego on Friday and didn't arrive until the next Tuesday. Monday was a holiday. These are not top of the line bumper plates but they are better quality than I was expecting. For the price that you pay it is definitely worth the money. They were all black and arrived on a wooden pallet secured with a metal band so make sure you have something to cut the band with. I also plan on ordering another set of 45's to add to my collection.

(More customer reviews)Don't buy this bar. It says it can hold 500lbs but it can't even hold 300lbs. The first day i got it i put on 300lbs and it bent like crazy. Hopefully ill be able to return it. But don't waste your time.

(More customer reviews)The bar arrived quickly. It was black not chrome as shown in the picture. It is so far holding up well to moderate use. The highest load put on the bar is 260 lbs. so far but will definitely hold far more than that.The last thing I would note about this bar is that it swivels VERY smoothly and easily making it a great choice for someone wanting to do power cleans or the like.I would recommend this bar.

(More customer reviews)When the bar arrived, it was in perfect condition... I checked the bearings, the straightness of the bar, everything.I wanted to test the tensile strength, so I loaded all 625 lb of weight that i own.It bowed when all the weight was on it, as expected, but when I took the weight off, the center of the bar was probably displaced a whole 1/2 centimeter -- and all the weight was on it for maybe 30 seconds!If I would have done some deadlifts, the bar would have been destroyed.I rolled the bar on the safety rails and watched it wobble away.I was so furious I called the distributor and requested a refund with a free pickup.

My opinion: pay the $200 for a York Power Barbell (1200lb) and save yourself the headache.This bar looks great, but it definitely is no 1000-lb barbell, even at static weight.
