I can complete my aerobics and shaping exercise sessions with no pain in my hand. Compact and versatile - can be used for anything. I recommend these heavy hands for anyone who wants a little extra in their exercise or walking routine.

Neoprene dumbbells are less damaging on flooring, don't smell bad, and (because of their hex shape) don't roll away. They are also easier to grip and more gentle on your hands (especially if you prefer to weight train without gloves).

In addition, the 1# or 2# dumbbells are great for toddlers/kids wanting to exercise at home with mom and dad.

The group who uses this has really liked it, as it is versitile and they can focus on diffent exercises each day.The DVD is very good, and one of the best things is that its broken down into 10 min. time blocks that offered a targeted workout.We wished the hand wts. were more than 2lbs,but thats really just a preference.The ball is the proper size for an avg. size woman.Would certainly recommend.

(More customer reviews)If you are smart - you will start slowly when adding weights to your walking-workout. These are a GREAT addition to your exercise-walk. Highly recommended.
Best to start off with just the Heavy-hands with no weights, then add the weights after a few weeks - not approaching this slowly could set you up for an injury. It really does raise the level of intensity to your walking workout.

(More customer reviews)If I were writing this review just on the weights/dumbbells, I would have given 5 stars.The weights are great, and their color is unique, and their grip great.Also, their unique shape makes exercises such as skull crushers, hammer curls, and front shoulder raises easier to grab the dumbbell by the top.However, I am rating this product as a whole, that means with the stand included.First of all, the stand is weak and plastic with two metal clips that slide into it to hold the weights.If you ask me, it is just for looks, and not to move the "dumbbell tree" around with, even though that handle on top looks rather deceiving.Do not pick this tree up by the handle or your toes will hurt as the weights come rolling off!Other than the stand, these weights are great!Get a new stand if you can !
