The item was very easy to assemble and it seems very sturdy.I have a 5-50 hex dumbbell set on the rack and there is a little room to spare.I have 5s, 10s, 15s, and 20s on the top rack.There is a little extra room on the top rack.On the middle rack I have my 25s, 30s and 35s.There was actually enough extra room on the middle rack to hold an extra 35 lb dumbbell.On the bottom rack I have 40s, 45s and 50s (The bottom rack does not have any extra space.)
The only issue I had was that the item was not packaged effectively.I say this because when I opened the box, the pieces had clearly jostled around quite a bit during shipment.It appears that one of the rack bars rubbed/bumped up against on of the arms of the rack, resulting with a small scratch.I kept the rating at 5 stars becaue the scratch is not a big deal to me.
