(More customer reviews)I've recently started taking martial arts again and felt that my forearm strength was lacking.I've used these types of devices in the past and decided to give it another try.First off, this is a great exercise for wrist flexors.You can do wrist extensions, but the range of motion is limited.So indeed, this is a one movement device.It is very effective at this movement.The resistance is reasonable, especially when using the flex-hold for ten seconds technique.If you just do the flex movement without holding for a few seconds, you may feel that the resistance is not enough.The device is well padded and very comfortable to use.

Here are some of the negatives:
1.I have serious doubts about the durability of this product.It's made almost entirely out of plastic resin.That's OK, but even the grips are made out of plastic.The joins are made out of plastic.I bought a similar device a good 15 years ago, and it was made almost completely out of metal.
2.The resistance adjustments are not very noticeable.There is very little difference between settings 1-5.

This device is effective and for times when you can't or don't want to run to the gym just to work your wrists.However, it's not a complete wrist exerciser, and don't expect it to last a lifetime.
